EPW - L'Etincelle, poor man's tourbillion (tourbillon), 53mm, .800 silver OF original case with glazed observation cover for escapement in back, SW-pin-set, WED with sweep seconds and subsidiary time dial, lever escapement, 15J, gilt mvt, s#115531. Gross weight of assembled watch 66.0 dwt (102.7 g). The mvt bears Swiss patent #34394 awarded to Louis Fallet and son Edouard in 1906. L'Etincelle is not listed in the trademark index.
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, excellent mvt condition overall; dial filled at two dial-foot locations, interrupting the outer chapter, chipped at edge at base, scratched in center; hands fine, coated; case shows very light wear, few MFS, very slight dents or dings, complete ET detail reduced around shoulder; bow tight, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal in back, plastic crystal in front needs buffing.
